Worship Shared with Bay United Methodist

Life and death stand side by side as we enter into Good Friday. In John’s passion account, Jesus reveals the power and glory of God, even as he is put on trial and sentenced to death. Standing with the disciples at the foot of the cross, we pray for the whole world in the ancient bidding prayer, as Christ’s death offers life to all. We gather in solemn devotion, but always with the promise that the tree around which we assemble is indeed a tree of life. We depart silently, and we anticipate the gift of the empty tomb Easter morning.

Holy Saturday – April 8

11am - Easter Egg Hunt
All children are invited to come and celebrate together and participate in the Easter Egg Hunt. Outside, weather permitting.

Easter Sunday – April 9

6:30am - Celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord

At Huntington Beach pavillion

This special worship offering is hosted by Bay United Methodist. Come and celebrate the early morning good news of the Empty Tomb while the sunrises over the horizon. This will be a shorter style worship, but you are invited to bring a chair if standing is challenging for you. Holy Communion will be offered.

9:30am - Easter Brunch

Feast together on some yummy breakfast casseroles and other breakfast delights!

11:00am - Festival Worship
In person and Livestreamed

This is the day the Lord has made! Christ is risen, and through him all creation is made new! Christ’s resurrection truly brings life to everyone. We sing hymns of praise, gather around sacred words, and proclaim God’s faithfulness, power, and love in the feast of holy communion.
